1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or using the ResumeMaker website and conversational AI application, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and ResumeMaker.
If you are using our services on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please immediately discontinue your use of our platform.
2. Description of AI Services
ResumeMaker provides a suite of career tools including an AI Resume Builder (conversational assistant and resume writer), ATS Match Scoring (missing keyword analysis), Cover Letter Builders, Tone Rewriters, and Interview Preparation utilities.
Our services use highly advanced Large Language Models (LLMs) to formulate and polish your resume content. We constantly seek to refine our algorithms; however, you acknowledge that AI-generated suggestions are recommendations and you retain sole responsibility for reviewing and verifying the accuracy and truthfulness of any resume content you export.
3. Registration and Account Security
To access and build resumes, you must create a secure user account. All authentication, sign-ups, and session tokens are managed on our behalf by Clerk.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete details during sign-up. You are fully responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activities occurring under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, you must notify us immediately.
4. Pricing, Payments, and Fiuu FPX
We provide specific premium tiers and credit packages to download recruiter-approved PDF templates and unlock unlimited AI tokens:
- Starter Plan (RM 4.99): Grants 1 full resume download, access to minimal/classic templates, and basic conversational rewrites.
- Job Hunter Plan (RM 9.99): Grants all templates, unlimited re-generations, AI cover letter matches, and ATS missing keyword audits.
- Career Pro Plan (RM 19.99): Grants 7-day unlimited access to all resumes, cover letters, ATS scores, and AI interview prep resources.
All online payments inside our platform are processed securely via the Fiuu Payment Gateway. When making a purchase:
- Payments are made in Ringgit Malaysia (MYR/RM).
- For FPX (online bank transfers), you will be redirected to your selected bank (e.g., Maybank2u, CIMB Clicks, Public Bank, etc.) via Fiuu's secure PCI-compliant checkout screen.
- Your bank account will be debited instantly upon successful verification.
- Double-check that your payment status has succeeded before closing the Fiuu redirect window.
5. Refund & Cancellation Policy
Due to the digital and instant nature of SaaS resources (where templates, AI processing cycles, and PDF rendering credits are consumed instantly upon use), all purchase fees processed via Fiuu are generally non-refundable once an AI credit has been spent or a PDF has been generated and downloaded.
We want you to be entirely satisfied. Therefore, we offer a **7-Day Refund Guarantee** under the following strict conditions:
- You have NOT generated or exported a resume PDF.
- You have NOT used AI credits to rewrite content, create cover letters, or analyze jobs.
- Your purchase occurred within 7 calendar days from the refund request date.

6. AI Generation Limitations & Disclaimers
No Job/Hiring Guarantee: ResumeMaker is a writing and formatting assistant tool. We make no representations, warranties, or covenants that using our AI-optimized bullets, ATS scores, or cover letters will lead to interview invitations, resume reviews, or successful job placements.
Accuracy of Output: Large Language Models are advanced but not perfect. AI bullet points may occasionally contain inaccuracies, exaggerated statements, or "hallucinated" details about your experience. You are **obligated** to read through and correct any details prior to sending your resume to recruiters.
Disclaimer of Warranties: THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
Your Content: You own all right, title, and interest in and to the raw biographical information, experience text, and documents you input or upload. By using the app, you grant ResumeMaker a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to transmit, store, and process your content strictly to render the services to you.
Our Platform: ResumeMaker owns the technology, code structure, graphics, templates, design layouts, and styling tokens. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, scrape, or distribute our design templates or application source code without our explicit written permission.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and your relationship with ResumeMaker shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through friendly, good-faith consultations or, if unsuccessful, submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
