- Account & Profile Information: When you sign up and log in, your user credentials, profile image, and email address are authenticated and securely managed by our identity partner, Clerk.
- Resume & Professional Content: We process any information you enter during your chat with our AI writer or input manually via our resume editor. This includes your name, contact details, work history, education, skills, references, and professional summaries.
- Uploaded Documents: If you use our "Import & Enhance" feature, we parse the text contents of your uploaded resume PDF or Word documents to seed your builder profile.
- Payment Information: When you upgrade your account (Starter, Job Hunter, or Career Pro), your FPX or credit card transactions are processed securely by our partner payment gateway, Fiuu. We receive confirmation of your payment status and billing reference ID. We do not capture, process, or store your raw banking credentials or credit card numbers.
- Technical & Usage Data: We automatically log technical details such as your browser type, device details, IP address, page views, and interactions to optimize app responsiveness and diagnose server issues.
3. How We Share and Process Your Data
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We only share data with verified, highly secure third-party processors to fulfill crucial operational tasks:
- Authentication (Clerk): We use Clerk to handle secure user logins, session verification, and account profile management. You can review Clerk's security standards on their official privacy page.
- Payment Processing (Fiuu): All transaction requests are redirected to Fiuu's secure merchant payment page. Your banking details are processed exclusively under Fiuu's highly regulated FPX and PCI-compliant standards.
- AI Generation APIs (OpenAI & Gemini): Your experience descriptions and target job matches are sent securely to state-of-the-art Large Language Models (LLMs) to write bullet points, cover letters, and interview tips. Your data is processed in real-time and is NOT used by these provider APIs to train their base foundational models.
4. Security and Retention
We employ strict industry-standard technical measures (such as SSL/TLS encryption, secure database access tokens, and sandbox API environments) to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, or deletion of your resumes.
We retain your resume data for as long as your account remains active so you can return to edit, update, or download your resumes at any time. If you decide to close your account, we delete all associated data within our production databases within 30 days.
5. Cookies and Local Storage
We use standard cookies and browser local storage to maintain your user session, keep you logged in across browser refreshes, and cache temporary draft versions of your resumes to prevent data loss. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though doing so will prevent you from logging in and accessing premium features.

- Access and export your resume contents in PDF or JSON drafts.
